I am awaiting knee replacement surgery and have been applying clay poultices to the damaged tibial plateau area and lower injured leg, ankle and foot on swelling and areas of reduced circulation from wearing a knee brace. After clay use, discolouration improves and the whole lower leg feels much more comfortable. It is very important that my skin stays intact and in good health before the surgery. We can no longer advertise this product as food grade due to a clampdown by trading standards (who don’t want any clays advertised this way), but we know many people who love using it internally. The choice of the process used is the sole responsibility of the user.
