Zechstein magnesium is a highly pure and natural form of magnesium.
This form of magnesium is named after the Zechstein Sea in which it was formed. The sea was an active ocean 250 million years ago. Beds of magnesium chloride were formed in the Zechstein by a process of seawater floods and very slow evaporation
Magnesium Chloride absorbed through the skin [transdermal] such as in a bath is a far superior method for safely increasing magnesium levels in the body, particularly useful for relieving sore muscles and joints, reducing pain related to functional magnesium deficiency and replenishing depleted soft tissues. It also assists to reduce systemic bodily stress help and calms nerves. In addition, Magnesium Chloride is an essential catalyst for many enzyme reactions, especially in regard to cellular energy production.
For bath: add 2-3 cups of Magnesium Chloride Flakes to warm bath water to optimize absorption (37-39°C ), soaking for a minimum of 20 minutes.
For foot bath: add 2 cups to a bucket of warm water soaking for a minimum of 20 minutes.
